Summary

Keltie Burke is a teenager living in a detention home for troubled children. One night she and a friend sneak away for a smoke in the basement. Little do they realize, something terrible is with them. When, by chance, they awaken a monster from the shadows, it attacks, and changes the way Keltie goes about her daily life forever. Now she must defend herself against an ancient vampire who spawned the shadow beast—defend, and if she means to go on living, destroy.
