Why do I need an invite to join?
You ever been chatted by a hot single *insert demographic* in your area? Yeah those. Those bots that will take over the world and enslave us all. We hate them. So invite-only. Request an invite from the registration page and a volunteer will review your request within a few days.
Do I need an account to browse?
No. You can browse, search, and filter books without an account. You only need one if you want to tag books, submit new ones, or leave comments.
How do I submit a book?
Once you have an account, click "Submit a Book" in the navigation (or footer). Fill in the title, author, and any other details you have. A volunteer will review and approve your submission.
How do tags work?
Tags are labels that describe a book. There's genre, mood, tropes, themes, and more. Any logged-in user can add tags to a book. Volunteers review new tags to keep the system organized.
What if a tag is wrong or inappropriate?
Volunteers review all new tags and can reject or reorganize them. If you see something that doesn't belong, the wrangling process will catch it. In the future, there will be a reporting feature.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Only your username, email, and display name is collected. Passwords are hashed using Argon2id.
Can I delete my account?
Not yet through the UI. Reach out at tunamayosisig@gmail.com to request account deletion. This will be added as a self-service feature in the future.
